If it was the date that it left the factory does anyone know when it was built? Dynamo and magneto re-built. Unfortunately you cant ride it away just now as the magneto is being rewound - it always started for me previously, but refused to give anything but a faint spark when I prepared it for sale. He considered the machine to be a fine example with no mechanical issues.

Not a Cafe Racer for the faint hearted! The bike comes with a history folder. People volunteer for a wide variety of reasons and for more details see the main Volunteers page. It looks as if the original number plate was sold and replaced with an age related many years ago. Pipes and clocks are missing, foot pegs are on top of the engine in the pictures, and we do have the correct front hub and complete brake plate for the bike.
